Every homeowner wants to sell their home fast, but even in a seller’s market some homes still take awhile to sell. It’s the nature of real estate. You could have the cutest house – it just may not be what the buyers are looking for at the time. Timing is a big part of buying and selling a home. Marketing plays a significant role too! That’s why you need a real estate agent willing to try unique ways to market your home to sell.

Marketing a home on Twitter

What if your home could talk?

What would it say?

It turns out, houses across the country are spreading the word about all their bells & whistles—- by sending out strategic “tweets”!

That’s right. Twitter has become the latest marketing tool for promoting homes for sale. It seems to be working, too. One agent named his listing “Bob” after the street it was located on, and each day “Bob” would send out a tweet to toot his own horn. The results? Showings more than doubled.

So, I guess I’m giving you all the heads up that you will soon start seeing tweets from “Stone,” “Ryan,” “Sonora,” “Rosewood,” and others– yes, you guessed it– just a few of our new listings.

The more showings, the more offers we receive. So, guess what? A little birdie told me its time to start spreading our marketing wings.

Facebook real estate marketing

We have expanded our marketing wings, offering Facebook ads to our clients too! We geo-target potential buyers and drive traffic to your listing. The more exposure, the better, and social media allows us a new way of promoting properties.

We also regularly post on Facebook, promoting price drops and other unique features of a listing. We also showcase homes in a YouTube virtual tour so buyers can get a feel for the house.

Sally Moore Facebook MarketingHome staging

Home staging is unique because very few real estate agents stage your home for you. They charge a fee or ignore it altogether. My partner, Dee and I, stage every home for FREE!

As Accredited Staging Professionals, our homes sell faster and for more money. We de-personalize spaces and highlight the features. We use a combination of your items and our treasure trove too.

Market your home to sell

Finally, use a Realtor®. You get so much more marketing power than you’ll ever get with For Sale By Owner. When we list a house, it instantly populates on dozens of websites, so it’s easy to find in search engines. We also have the option of using email.

Plus, nothing beats good old-fashioned connections. Realtors® have many. Those leads pay off when it’s time to sell your home. Real estate agents know how to get your property in front of the right buyers.

It’s not just where you market a home, but how you sell it. Real estate agents know how to write descriptions that sound inviting.

In this connected world, we live in; you can’t rely on one way to sell a home. You need an agent who is creative, and willing to go the extra mile to get your home in front of the right buyer. A well-staged and marketed home will sell quickly in today’s market!
